Diddy and Dr. Dre squash 2014 beef and work together for the FIRST time in the recording studio
Rap mogul rivals LOVE aka Diddy and Dr. Dre worked together for the first time in the recording studio on Monday night.
Back in their nineties heyday, the Harlem-born 52-year-old (born Sean Combs) famously repped the East Coast while the Compton-born 57-year-old (born Andre Young) repped the West Coast.
Dr. Dre enlisted Diddy to provide vocals for his fourth studio album, which was ‘one of my biggest dreams finally come true.’
‘I remember the first time I heard @DrDre’s production. It gave me clear direction on the level of producer that I wanted to be,’ the three-time Grammy winner – who boasts 43.3M social media followers – gushed on Tuesday.
‘Last night, I got the chance to work with this man and to see his genius as he coached me through vocals. He reminded me of myself, but with a different style and way more focused. I gotta step my focus up, LOL!
‘But it was a great experience and I thank God for it. I hope one day ya’ll get to have the same experience with someone that you always looked up to as a hero.’
The hip-hop legends’ collaboration received excited comments from rapper-producers French Montana, Mike WiLL Made-It, Felix da Housecat as well as nineties supermodel Naomi Campbell, actor Omar Epps, and Black-ish creator Kenya Barris.
Also in the recording studio on Monday night was 16-time Grammy nominee Snoop Dogg, who’s worked with Dr. Dre since the beginning of his career in 1991.
