Milly Chebby to undergo weight loss surgery

Content creator Milly Chebby now says she planning to undergo weight loss surgery.

The mother of one who has been a victim of body shaming shared on her Instagram that she will undertake one of the procedures to shed weight but did not disclose the specific one.

She listed a number of options she is weighing including tummy tuck, 360 liposuctions, Brazilian Butt Lift, vaginoplasty, gastric balloon, and breast implants.

“I will be going for a procedure soon, I’ll be going for one of those you have seen. Very, very, soon,” Milly Chebby said.

Growing list…

The internet influencer now joins the growing list of Kenyan personalities opting for weight loss surgeries.

Among the few who have are actresses Jackie Matubia, Cate Actress and media personality Willis Raburu among others.

Matubia revealed she underwent non-invasive surgery where an inflatable silicone balloon was inserted into her stomach in a bid to lose weight.

The mother of two opened up about undergoing the procedure in a series of posts on her Instagram account.

She revealed that she had lost six kilograms in one week from a starting weight of 105.5 to 99.3 kilograms.

“Today want to give you a small story about my weight loss journey. It’s barely one week and I have lost almost 6kgs,” she wrote.

On his part, Willis Raburu said he was forced to undergo weight loss surgery for the sake of his health.

Speaking to Mungai Eve, the 35-year-old says he underwent gastric bypass surgery which cost him between Ksh600K and Ksh 900K.

He says he opted for the surgery since going to the gym did not work out for him.

“I went for gastric bypass surgery. I respect watu wanaenda gym. Gym ni kazi, nilikua na good trainers but nilikua na loss weight but inarudi.

(Although I had a good gym trainer, I would lose weight and then regain it.

“By the time I was going for the surgery I was not doing well. I was 164kgs I needed the surgery because my blood pressure and cholesterol were high,” he added.

He says the surgery has helped him cut his intake of food which will gradually help him shed more weight.
