AKA’s Friends Behind His Memorial Billboard Revealed

The Supa Mega was well-known for bringing South Ah together through his music. Friends who had been with him throughout his illustrious career decided to put up a billboard of him to show the country and the globe that the Supa Mega was a legend.

Taking to Twitter, Nota claimed that he was the one behind the AKA’s memorial billboard. “Did this for you my boy… Long Live Supa Mega Live Long!” Tweeted Nota.

However, AKA‘s friend and collaborator Zadok came and asserted that Nota was lying and he is not the brains behind AKA’s billboard. “You had nothing to with this,” tweeted Zadok.

Duma Collective co-founder Sibu Mabena took to Twitter and revealed the names of AKA‘s friends who were behind the idea of the billboard. Mabena praised AKA’s industry friends for such a wholesome gesture for the Supa Mega.

Nivo, Tshiamo, Siya, Don, Moozlie, Pumza, Kelz, Zaz, Sibu G and the whole gang are doing so so so much to make this one spectacular last dance for Forbes. They’re real stars okay 🏆❤️ A whole billboard??? The Sandton CC and everything! So Mega!” Tweeted Mabena.

AKA has not only received a respectful sending-off from his friends, but the SA government has also decided to offer support to the Forbes family with necessary arrangements for the funeral. Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi stated earlier this week outside the family home in Bryanston that the government will offer whatever “necessary assistance” to ensure AKA had a decent funeral.

“We are committed to provide whatever necessary assistance is needed so we can ensure our hero is given a befitting farewell,” he said.
