BBNaija: Beauty floors these 6 people after setting a new record amidst disqualification
The Big Brother Reality TV show has a list of house rules to which they must abide by during their entire stay in the house. Breaking one rule in the Big Brother’s house gets you issued a strike every time. Every housemate can only survive two strikes during their stay in the house, receiving a third strike will mean instant disqualification from the show.
Disqualified housemates are made to exit the show from the backdoor and are not allowed to grant interviews or talk to the live audience. They will also not receive any money or other prizes they have won from their participation in the house tasks. Here is a list of 6 housemates that have been disqualified from the BBNaija reality TV show so far:
1. Kemen
Kemen was disqualified in 2017 for sexually touching female co-housemate Tboss without her consent while she was asleep. He spent 44 days in the house.
2. Khloe
Khloe was disqualified in 2018 after earning three strikes for bad behaviour. She spent 22 days before her unceremonious exit but later returned to the game after fans fought to bring her back.
4. Tacha
Tacha’s disqualification from the the season 4 show drew the biggest attention because she was a strong contender in the show before her disqualification and fans believed she was cheated. She was disqualified from the show in 2019 following her infamous fight with co-housemate and rival Mercy Eke. Tacha spent 89 days on the show.
5. Erica
Erica was disqualified in 2020 for offences that led to her disqualification which includes denying the deputy head of house (Prince) access to the head of house lounge, pouring water on the bed of head of house lounge, peeping through the windows and trying to talk to the camera crew and bullying co-housemate Laycon. She spent 49 days on the show.
6. Beauty
BBNaija Levelup housemate Beauty Tukura is the latest housemate to join the list of disqualified housemates from the reality TV show. Beauty was disqualified for physically assaulting fellow housemate Groovy and came after she was issued a double strike on Sunday, less than an hour before Sunday’s live eviction show. She broke the record of the fastest disqualification in the history of the show as she spent only 15 days.
