Despite Big Zulu’s diss track reaching 1 million views on YouTube, Cassper Nyovest also had something to celebrate as he emerged as the biggest winner of the day on Spotify. Taking to Twitter, SA Hip-hop Spotify stated that Cassper is the Biggest Gainer on Spotify’s daily Top Artists Chart following the release of his diss track reply to Big Zulu. “@casspernyovest is the biggest gainer on the Spotify Daily Top Artists SA Chart, following the release of his single “4 Steps Back.” Read the tweet.

In his brutal reply to Big Zulu, Cassper recounts how he was urged to ignore Big Zulu’s song and how he “put him on” by working with him on a song that he had to “force.” The rapper then claimed that his opponent does not own his own work and calls him a “b***ch” who needs to display his panties.

“This right here is karma for women that you abused” Cassper raps as referring to the abuse allegations levelled against Big Zulu in recent years. Cassper did not hold back at firing shots at the boss of the Nkabi record. The Doc Shebeleza chanter mocked his opponent for being an “up and coming artist” at the age of 36.

Cassper also accused Big Zulu of wanting to capitalize on Riky Rick’s death after Big Zulu altered his song and performed a freestyle in memory of the late rapper shortly after his death. Just to show off and differentiate himself from other rappers who responded to Big Zulu, Cassper Nyovest went on and dropped a music video for his diss track. The video has now scored over 500K views on YoutTube.
