Cassper Reacts To Winning His First-ever GQ Award

GQ held its Men of the Year Awards this past weekend. The awards are intended to recognize Mzansi A-listers, particularly males, who have made significant contributions to their respective sectors. As a result, Cassper Nyovest won this year’s Entertainer of the Year Award. He has never previously received a GQ mention despite his fashionable appearance in SA Hip hop.

Taking to Twitter, Cassper could not hold his excitement as he shared that he was for a long time to look forward to winning the GQ Award. “God did!!! I have been wanting a nod from GQ foreal.” Tweeted Cassper. Given the significant contribution Nyovest contributed to the entertainment business between 2021 and 2022, his victory is not unexpected.

Cassper’s Root Of Fame Twitter page also celebrated the rapper’s big win with a caption; “GQ Entertainer of the Year @casspernyovest. Congratulations on this big win #RF990,” read the tweet.

Cassper has had a lot of things going on between 2021 and 2022. The rapper introduced Celeb City Boxing matches that have brought a major impact on South African Boxing. As if that was not enough, Mufasa also had a successful stint with the Braai Show and his brands’ Root Of Fame and Billiato are now famous in their respective markets.
