“Don Design used to be my right-hand man” – Ntukza

“Don Design used to be my right-hand man” – Ntukza. AKA’s passing has triggered Mzansi to venture on a witch-hunt following the release of the CCTV footage that shows how the Supa Mega was murdered. Don Design who was AKA’s DJ and friend is being implicated by social media detectives in the murder of the slain rapper.

Taking to Twitter, Ntukza emerged to be one of the Mzansi artists who is defending Don Design following accusations that he played a part in the murder of AKA. The former Teargas member said that Don Design was once his right-hand man before working with AKA.

Ntukza clarified that the prominent DJ would never be in cahoots to get the SA hip-hop superstar murdered. “Don Design used to be my right-hand man before AKA, he’d never have any bad motives against Mega,” tweeted Ntukza.

Don Design has not only been defended by industry friends, but AKA’s father has also spoken about the issues regarding the DJ’s accusations. Addressing the media on Tuesday afternoon, AKA’s father said that the family does not support the accusations that have become viral on social media.

“We do not condone what is being said about his friends and those making dangerous statements. We appeal to them to cease from doing so,” Forbes said. He also revealed how much AKA’s friends have been helpful throughout this period. “They have extended themselves beyond expectations. They have really really really gone out of their way to support us.”

These concerns were earlier expressed by Forbes’ lawyer, Rudolph Baloyi, who stated: “I spoke to him last night and also yesterday as he was also at the house, you know people are blaming him for this thing but then we all know that Don Design is not that type of a person. He is almost like a child to the Forbes’ that’s why he is also welcomed at the house. Nobody is pointing any fingers at him apart from the people on social media.”
