Emtee Expresses Desire To Follow In AKA’s Footsteps

The self-proclaimed Big Hustler is still aiming for the big prize and his ambition is to become like the late rapper AKA. Taking to Twitter, Emtee expressed vehemently that he want to be as big as the Supa Mega. “One day I’ll be as big as AKA,” tweeted Emtee.

Emtee’s remarks sparked massive criticism with one of his followers ridiculing him for wanting to be like AKA whom he thinks was not big. “Was AKA big ?? Wish yourself a better man,” read the tweet. In response, Emtee emphasized his point as stressed that the Supa Mega was a giant event. “He was Giant in fact,” Emtee added.

AKA always expressed his love and support to Emtee and the two had mutual respect towards one another. With that in place, Emtee was one of the artists who got a nod on AKA’s posthumous Mass Country Album an indication as to how the Hustler was special to AKA musically.

Following the passing of AKA, Emtee took to Twitter and opened up on how everyone in the music industry looked down on him because he was poor. The Hustler said that it only took him to have AKA on his song and doors started opening. “Everybody looked down on me cos I was poor till I got AKA on a song,” tweeted Emtee.

Even though Emtee and AKA didn’t work together on many tracks, they gave it their all when they did. That will always hold a particular place in the heart of Emtee and the rap community as a whole, so it’s not unforeseen that the Roll Up chanter wants to follow in AKA’s footsteps.
