Emtee Reacts To Claims That He Got Slapped By Riky Rick

Following a Twitter post with video clip of Emtee’s song ‘Amamenemene,’ it was claimed that the Hustler was slapped by the late rapper Riky Rick because of that song. The tweet went on to say that Emtee doesn’t want to respond to Big Zulu’s 150 bars diss track because he doesn’t want to be betean like Riky did to him.

“Emtee once got a slap from makhado for this track. He doesn’t want history to repeat itself from Big Zulu.” Read the twee. Emtee went on and refutated the claims that he was slapped by Riky Rick. “Who slapped who!? 🤣 You h*es think I’m some cabbage ne? S*ck a d*ck!!” Tweeted Emtee.

In an interview on Capital Rap Up on Cliff Central published on News24, the late rapper cleared the air on the rumoured beef with him and Emtee. The rumours came following his lyric in his song, Sidlukotini. In the song the rapper refers to artists “buying” awards.

“Who you talking about?” one of the presenters on the show asked Boss Zonke. “Because there was speculation that you talking about Emtee.” Riky stated that he wasn’t talking about anyone, but the awards. “I don’t think I’m talking about anyone, I think I’m talking about the awards.”

Even though Emtee released Amamenemene, a retaliation against Riky, Boss Zonke stated that the two cleared the air and things were right between them. “We cool. I spoke to him just the other day. We’re cool.” Said Riky in response to his rumoured beef with Emtee.

With all that was said between the two rappers regarding their rumoured misunderstanding, Emtee also stated that he got so much love for Riky. “Got so much love for this man @rikyrickworld,” tweeted Emtee.
