George Avakian Explains Why He Believes “Mass Country” Will Be AKA’s Best Project. South Africans might be shattered by the brutal passing of AKA, but the rapper did not completely leave his fans in the ditch. The rapper was working on the release of his fourth album Mass Country which will be released on Friday.
George Avakian who worked with AKA in the music industry expressed that he has a feeling that Mass Country is going to be the most successful project ever done by AKA. Avakian took to Twitter to chronicle AKA’s moves while working on the project, and he expressed excitement for the body of work.
“I get the feeling this will be Keirnans best work, the way he was moving creating this project, he was more dangerous than ever, I’m very excited Mass Country. Company slapping,” tweeted George Avakian.

Mass Country‘s manager and co-executive producer, Nhlanhla Nivo Ndimande, remarked that AKA put his heart and soul into the album.
“He put his heart and soul into it, and we were blessed that Kiernan got the opportunity to map out this entire rollout and approve all the elements, so what will be coming out will be as per his direction and his vision. We thank the Forbes family for their faith in the entire team working on this project,” said Nivo.
AKA was assassinated on Friday, 10 February, when gunmen opened fire on him and his close friend Motsoane at Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
