The one-man show in Durban was clearly a successful one as the rapper delivered as expected considering his standards as a musician. During an interview with Slikour, the rapper stated that he did not make any money from his sold-out one-man shows including the one he did in Durban.

“It’s crazy because even with the one-man shows I’ve never made money from all these one-man shows that I have done before,” he said. Sjava went on to explain why he never made any money and how he invested it.

“That’s crazy because there is production, flying the guys down, making sure that for a person, it might not be today but when we are building towards creating those types of shows, that type of quality of production, class, standard, to give to the people,” he said.

Sjava has had a strong start to the year, with his newly released album Isibuko gaining widespread praise in South Africa. The rapper is aiming to offer more live performances and he recently announced that he will be performing his Isibuko album live in three Cities in Mzansi from March to May 2023.
