One of the songs that made SA hip-hop fans show respect to the acclaimed rapper is Son Of A Gun which was released in 2014. In the song, the rapper was clearly stamping his authority and claiming that he is the best in the game and he has maintained the status quo to this day.

Taking to Twitter, one of his followers shared a Tik Tok video rapping along to Son Of A Gun lyrics and K.O. was impressed with what he saw on the video. “@MrCashtime you went in hard on this joint,”🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 read the tweet. In response K.O. said; “Performance too on point! Homie gotta get into haha,” he tweeted.

K.O. is enjoying a wonderful spell in SA hip hop as he managed to drop an album last year that came with a song of the year in Sete. With all the success he has achieved, he recently faced a setback after he was accused of stealing a beat he used on SETE.

The rapper, however, took to Twitter and addressed how he got the beat for his album’s lead single clarifying that he didn’t steal from anyone. “UPDATE: Pt. 1: How artists/beatmakers collab in today’s largely virtual music industry… I bought the #SETE beat on an online platform via @Calliemajik ‘s page (original producer). Discovered other artists had used it so we replaced some of sounds to make mine unique.”

Pt. 2: I hold full Unlimited Rights to the License of the instrumental I bought which is why the artists who also put out their own versions rightfully cannot disputed mine cos we’re all governed by the same or lesser Copyright. Normal practice in today’s music world,” he tweeted.
