Khuli Chana Reveals The Mind-blowing Plans He & AKA Had For The “Prada” Music Video. Just like everyone, Khuli Chana was caught by surprise when he learnt about the passing of his friend AKA. The veteran rapper has worked with the slain rapper for so many years in the game and they have delivered a slew of hitters whenever they collaborate.
Khuli Chana is amongst the artists who managed to secure a feature with AKA on the recently released Mass Country album. The two featured on a song called Prada, a track that expresses more about modern love and how women want to be treated.
Speaking with SowetanLive publication after the passing of AKA, Khuli Chana stated that he and AKA intended to convey the atmosphere of 2010 and 2011 to the song Prada. The 40-year-old rapper stated that the music video, which they had planned with AKA would have been top-notch. Khuli Chana affirmed that even though AKA is no more he is still going to shoot the music video to honour him.
“With that song Kiernan and I wanted to bring back the vibe we had in 2010 and 2011, something we knew people were yearning for. The music video would’ve been high-end, something grown and sexy. Although he’s gone I still would like to shoot the music video to the song just to honour him.” He said.
Khuli Chana who has been in the game for a while admitted that AKA has always been one of the SA rappers who took his music seriously. He made it clear that the slain rapper’s legacy will live on because of the good music he created for his Megacy fanbase. “Kiernan really loved his music and his craft. One thing I take away from him is how hard he worked at it and his passion for what he did,” Chana said.
