This time around fast-rising star Loatinover Pounds came through with what has been dubbed the street anthem in Sosh Plata Remix featuring 25K and Thapelo Ghutra.
In an interview with Slikour on Slikour On Life, the Pretoria-based rapper unveiled the events that led him and 25K to hop on the Sosh Plata Remix. Loatinover said that he first met 25K in 2018 when the latter was opening for the late rapper AKA in Ga-Rankuwa.
“Me and 25, I think my first encounter with him was in 2018. He was also opening for AKA in Rankuwa,” he said. “I won a competition to perform there, so I just like went to him, gave him dabs, yo I see you moving, how do I do it, he gave me games somewhere there. Then we started linking up at events where we performed together,” Loantinover said.
Explaining how 25K was impressed by him performing Sosh Plata at an event, Loantinover said; “Fast forward to the competition Homecoming events, he was there when I was performing Sosh Plata and he put a video of me performing and I was like that’s my shot because I always wanted him on this track.”
“Then I reached out to him, like yo bro, I got this track I’m sure you know it I need a remix I think after 3 days he was like yo, the rest was history.” He added. Sosh Plata (Remix) has currently traversed 1.7 million streams on Spotify and continues to rack up views on YouTube as it currently stands at 1 Million views.
