“Long overdue” – K.O Announces ‘Live At The Hill’ Special Music Concert
“Long overdue” – K.O Announces ‘Live At The Hill’ Special Music Concert K.O has finally heeded the call to host his one-man music concert. The veteran rapper is one of the few big-name rappers to fulfil that musical trajectory and the time has finally come for him to live up to the expectation.
Taking to Instagram, the Skhanda World boss made it known to his fans that the time has come for them to witness their favourite gracing them on the big stage. The rapper announced that the music concert will take place at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg in July.
“I can’t even lie, I’m super excited big announcement, a concert by yours truly on the 29th of July. Constitution Hill Johannesburg, kuzoba munandi. Book your ticket right now,” K.O said. “What can I say, long overdue, K.O, of course, I’m gonna bring out a couple of guests with me. You already know how we do it. But for the most part, this is my catalogue, taking you through the repertoire, it’s gonna be a good one, get your ticket right now let’s go!”
K.O has conceded that the reason he hasn’t been getting his flowers as one of the best SA rappers is because of not partaking in big music concerts. The likes of Cassper Nyovest, Sjava and the late AKA have all hosted big music concerts. This year Kwesta will also host his music concert in August, and K.O as one of the respected in the game has decided to add that to his musical journey.
The rapper said that the concert is for those who have been supporting him throughout his topsy-turvy musical journey. “A NGHT LIKE NO OTHER for all those who’ve rocked with me through this journey. Pouring my blood, sweat and pain on that stage July 29th!” Wrote K.O on his Instagram page.
