Maglera Doe Boy Reacts To The Reported Arrest Of 7 Illegal Immigrants In Klerksdop. Maglera Doe Boy has spoken extensively about the atrocities and inequalities that black people in his Klerkdsdop town encounter on a daily basis.
With the unresolved illegal immigrants situation in the country, the rapper’s hometown has also become a hunting ground for immigrants and illegal miners. Taking to Twitter, expressed his sentiments following the arrest of 7 illegal immigrants in the Wolwerand mine in Klerksdop.
“BREAKING NEWS: 7 illegal immigrants arrested in Wolwerand mine in Klerksdop for illegal mining. All suspects will make appearence at the Klerksdorp Court where one suspect will face charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. Meanwhile seven suspects will be facing charges under the Immigration Act.” Read the tweet.
Maglera responded by implying that the illegal miners desire dwellings to conduct their criminal activities in his hometown. “N*gg*s want the houses to cave in ko Maglera Wtf.” Tweeted Maglera Doe Boy. In his debut album, Maglera highlighted how black people are displaced and what makes his story more authentic is that he experienced the facets of township life.
This is not the first time Maglera Doe Boy has advocated against injustice in his hometown. Last year, the rapper ripped at the media after a video of a white man fighting three thugs in Klerksdorp went viral. “Can’t believe it took a video of a white man getting robbed for people to care about Maglera. How many times has the SABC been there because of the violent crime in the townships but it never gets shared this much.” Tweeted Maglera.
