Nasty C Hints At Music Collaboration With UK Rapper Stormzy Following Meet-and-Greet At MTV EMA Awards

During the just-ended MTV EMA Awards, the Durban-native rapper made history and became the first South African artist to perform live at the prestigious awards ceremony. Taking to Instagram, Nasty C shared some of the behind-the-scenes moments at the event and the most notable one is his meet-and-greet moment with UK rapper Stormzy.

In the Instagram post, Nasty C expressed that he would like to work with Stormzy whom he went on to congratulate for the success he is currently enjoying in UK rap music. “Congratulations on last night @stormzy!! such a cool guy man. We’re gonna have hits together one day,” he wrote.

Nasty C has never shied away from wanting to work with artists outside the country mostly in America. The rapper said he is willing to work with any artist so that he can get his music to a wider audience outside South Africa.  “Working with artists who are up and coming out here who have like a younger audience and demographic works a bit better and in a more natural way because these kids nowadays they don’t really care about the accent or where the artist is from, the music is dope, the music is dope and they will start to follow you and whatever, he said.
