Nota Defends Kaya FM DJ Sammy T For Asking Nadia Nakai About Her Dating History. Nadia Nakai finally cleared the air about her connection with South African rapper Cassper Nyovest.

This week, the rapper appeared on Kaya FM’s breakfast show. Nadia put the record straight when chatting with Sammy T and Sol Phenduka, addressing rumours that she had a falling out with her former record label boss, Cassper Nyovest.

Asked about her relationship with Cassper and AKA and how it has affected her brand, the rapper clarified that she has never been in a relationship with Cassper rather she was at a record label with Cassper and she is dating AKA. “I wasn’t in a relationship with Cassper, Im not associated, I’m dating AKA, I was in a record label with Cassper,” she said.

Taking to Twitter, Nota stated that it was appropriate for Sammy T to get clarity on Nadia Nakai‘s involvement with Cassper and AKA. In a tweet, Nota used Nadia Nakai’s raps about men as a point of reference and how her involvement with them affects her career.

“There’s nothing wrong with Sammy T asking Nadia Nakai about her dating history… Have you listened to her lyrics? All she raps about is men so it’s only fair that she’s asked about what it does for her career to be associated with so many rappers. DotCom & Vic Mensa included!” Tweeted Nota.

Following the interview with Nadia, Sammy T has come under criticism, with many criticizing him for using the phrase “Naked Chick” to refer to Nadia. Nadia received so much praise for handling the interview well after she was also asked if she is dating AKA to spite Cassper Nyovest.

“Of course not, there’s no spite I could never want to spite Cassper, he gave me such a big opportunity in my career that I would never do that to him. I would never do that to get Cassper back I still have major respect for him I still appreciate so much that he’s done in my career, it wasn’t about that,” she said.
