Ntukza Explains Why He Will Not Succumb To The Pressure Of Achieving Million Music Streams
Ntukza Explains Why He Will Not Succumb To The Pressure Of Achieving Million Music Streams. The music industry has become even more of a game of metrics as a result of the abundance of internet music streaming. Most musicians want to increase the number of people who hear their music, which will bring in more money for them.
Even if that is the current trend, SA rappers like Ntukza are unconcerned since he has said he has other methods to make money than worrying about million streams.
Taking to Twitter, Ntukza stated that even though most artists will go all out for a million streams, he will rather have more than 50 000 people buy his music via e-wallet. “A lot of Artists would die for a million streams, i’d die for 50 000 people to buy my project via ewallet or cash send all proceeds 100% to muaah,” he tweeted.
Ntukza has received a massive backlash from fans following the release of his below-par diss track Long Road To Freedom. Despite the criticism, the rapper has been his own cheerleader as he has been sharing how people from outside the country have been appreciating his sound. “Yesterdays Release, Todays #Repost from outside South Africa’s borders to overseas. It’s these everyday #Reposts that got them mad,” he tweeted.
Last year, the former Teargas member promised his fans that he would release new songs, but the rapper has been delaying the release for an assortment of reasons.
