Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have come out to set the record straight that they are dating/married as it’s popularly believed.
The Wasafi boss through a statement he shared on his InstaStories on Saturday, February 18, 2023, clarified that Zuchu and him at present are like a sister and a brother.
“Kwa pamoja na Zuhura tunaomba tuwataarifu ya kwamba, kwasasa sisi ni dada na kaka na si wapenzi kama ilivyokua ikidhaniwa ama wengine kujua. (Together with Zuchu, we would like to inform you that, at present, we are sister and brother and not lovers as it has been assumed or known),” Diamond said in part.
Diamond’s statement comes amid speculations that Zuchu had broken up with him.
Zuhura Othman Soud popularly known by her stage name Zuchu spurred speculations following her announcement that she is now single.
She broke the news via Snapchat where she posted a broken heart post, telling her fans that she was not in a relationship.
“Don’t tag me in his bullshit, I am single from now going forward. Thank you,” Zuchu wrote.
The Sukari hitmaker also deleted all the photos she has ever taken with her alleged boyfriend Diamond Platnumz.
The new development comes just days after Zuchu shortly after Valentine’s Day took to social media and posted photos of Diamond and her without sharing any caption.
In the photos, the two were seen posing together while clad in Muslim attire.
Several people including family members where quick to congratulate Zuchu and Diamond after she shared the photos.
Diamond’s sister Esma Platnumz referred Zuchu as a bride while the singer’s cousin and his official DJ Romy Jones wished them well in their marriage.
“Bi harusi,” Esma Platnumz commented.
“Na ndoa yenu ikawe ya kheri inshallah,” Romy Jones commented.
