Singer and actress Sanaipei Tande has dismissed critics over her viral photos where she was captured showing off her thighs in a short dress.
Sanaipei shared three pics on her Twitter page lounging in her house wearing a short floral dress sending netizens into a frenzy.
During her appearance on Oga Obinna’s show dubbed KulaCooler she said unlike when she was a teenager, she does not feel the need to engage social media bullies.
“Like I said when I was 19, these things used to bother me. But now it’s just you know you can read into how people are saying how they are saying, what they are saying, this person is hating you in a way that is just unintelligent... If I can put it that way.
So you ask yourself unataka kubizana na mtu haujui alizaliwa wapi, haujui anaishi wapi haujui anafanya kazi gani. Haujui ni nini imemfanya so bitter mpaka anakutusi na hajawahi kukumet? So why engage?” she quipped.
The actress who was featured on a local TV drama series ‘Kina‘ before leaving says she remains unbothered by the hateful comments as she focuses only on positive comments.
“You just do you and appreciate the good comments. You know we always say focus on the positive vibe. You can’t just always focus on negativity, you are going down so there’s always those people who appreciate you, love you for what you do, who you are, and you follow that,” she stated.
Adding; “These other people, sasa wacha nisiongee mbaya. yeah but you know I was trending.”
The photos simply captioned “Vile inafaa!! Good morning” has attracted over 1.2 million views.
The pics were shared in May and sparked mixed reactions on Twitter before Sanaipei joined the trend list.
