Sizwe Dhlomo Responds To Claims That K.O Is The Most Selfless Artist In SA Hip Hop
Sizwe Dhlomo Responds To Claims That K.O Is The Most Selfless Artist In SA Hip Hop. The release of Skhanda Republic 3 came at a time when SA hip hop was in dire need of new projects from big-name rappers. K.O received massive praises prior to the album release after he dropped SETE as he combined hip hop and amapiano to come out with a unique sound for the summer.
Taking to Twitter, Sizwe Dhlomo has hailed K.O for being one of the wisest rappers in the game. This came after one of the tweeps claimed that the SkhandaWorld boss is the most selfless rapper. K.O has been described as one of the SA rappers with no pride who has managed to work with a slew of artists in the game.
“K.O is the most selfless artist and he has zero pride. He’s worked so many big SA artists… The likes of AKA, Sjava, Nasty C, Shekinah, YoungstaCPT, Cassper Nyovest, Black Coffee, Nandi, Dj Switch, and most recently Blxckie, Young Stunna.. Stay humble king @MrCashtime.” Read the tweet.
In response, Sizwe Dhlomo stated K.O has understood the aspect of working with others than doing it over by himself. “It’s not that he’s selfless, it’s that he’s wise. Over the decades he’s seen that it’s always better to work with others than to try & do it all by yourself.” Tweeted Sizwe Dhlomo.
K.O has worked with artists from different genres on his SR3 album and it justifies what Sizwe Dhlomo has said about him. The rapper has claimed that the SR3 project is the best work he has ever produced in his rap career with the success of SETE surpassing that of Caracara.
“No cap, how I’m feeling and I’ll just say this all the time I believe it is my best work. I was able to put out a throwaway record and it’s of that quality, so you can imagine what’s on the album. It’s not only just about me, but it’s also just from the production standpoint, NRS standpoint and being able to create chaos in the form of pulling people from different worlds and putting them on one record and just making it like a show-stopping moment,” he said.
