Slimes Leap To A-Reece’s Defence Following ‘Replay Value’ Debate
Slimes Leap To A-Reece’s Defence Following ‘Replay Value’ Debate. A-Reece is a rapper in Mzansi Africa who has garnered the most adoring followers. While the rapper is busy creating songs, his followers are fighting all of his battles on his behalf.
The Twitter timeline has been awash with a debate on which rapper carries songs that have the most replay value. This came after a tweep claimed that there is no SA rapper with the best replay value than Emtee. “There’s no South African rapper with the same amount of replay value as Emtee the hustler,” read the tweet.
The notion that Emtee carries the best replay value led to A-Reece’s fans to jump into the debate claiming that their favourite carries the best replay value than Emtee. The Slimes argued that A-Reece has more streaming numbers compared to Emtee hence the latter cant qualify as an SA rapper with the best replay value.
“Imagine arguing about replay value. That’s A-Reece first(2017) independent album and that’s Emtees latest(2021) album This pic is implying that FMTYAOY is played more than Logan on Apple music at moment. *Logan is the only Album by Emtee charting inside the top 200.” Read the tweet.
As if that wasn’t enough, another tweep defended A-Reece and said that Emtee had done less work since becoming an independent artist than A-Reece. “I agree but let’s not downplay the fact that A-Reece left a label and became the best on his own, what has Emtee done since he left the label?” Read the tweet.
Ever since Emtee and A-Reece became independent artists after their departure from Ambtiouz entertainment they are yet to give their fans a collaboration. Last year, Emtee took to Twitter and stated that the two have settled their differences and they are working together on a new song. With Emtee working on the release of DYI 3 all eyes will be looking forward to seeing if A-Reece got a nod on the project.
