Stogie T Weighs In On Who Was A Better Rapper Between AKA & Pro Kid

Stogie T Weighs In On Who Was A Better Rapper Between AKA & Pro Kid. A person with firsthand knowledge about the rap game can provide valuable insight into who is the better rapper in South African hip-hop. Stogie T, who has contributed at a higher level in SA Hip-Hop came through and shared his viewpoint on who was a better rapper between AKA and Pro Kid.

Speaking during an interview with Zingah on Choppin It With Bhudha T Podcast, Stogie T said that Pro Kid was a better rapper than AKA. The seasoned rapper provided various analyses in an attempt to justify his claim. “That’s easy, it’s Pro Kid, that’s not difficult,” said Stogie T.

“Forbes hasn’t shown me that he can do what Pro Kid could do. At his highest form just emceeing, never reached where Pro Kid reached, but he absolutely rapped well,” Stogie said. “Forbes made a decision, Forbes said yo, i want to get somewhere else with the music and he did that at a very high level to the point where he left some of us.

Stogie T stated that, while AKA continued to make music, he did not achieve the maximum level lyrically. “Forbes continued to be an emcee even though he was doing other things but I never heard him get to where I think is the last great level. The last great level I heard from Kiernan just lyrically was a while back,” Stogie T explained.

Speaking on the last time AKA has shown his lyrical prowess, Stogie T said; “look what’s he doing on the thing (Mass Country Album) was very impressive but it ain’t the thing.

Responding to whether Prod Kid is better with all abilities considered, Stogie T said; “To me, melody is not a criteria.”
