Thato Saul Celebrates 1 Year Of “Life Is Gangsta” Album. Thato Saul has been representing Pretoria at the top level in the South African Hip-hop scene. His album, Life Is Gangsta, clearly demonstrates his wordsmithing abilities as well as his knack to create engaging music.
The Pretoria-based rapper turned to Twitter to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Life Is Gangsta. The rapper expressed gratitude to his followers for their continuous support over the year. “Life Is Gangsta turns 1 today. Thank you all for making it what it is,” tweeted Thato Saul.
The album is equipped with juxtaposes and phrases of common Pitori people’s exchanges, demonstrating how Thato Saul expresses his emotions, particularly concerning his origins. Thato Saul dropped the body of work on the 10th of June 2022 and it has attracted a massive reception during the course of the year.
The project housed impressive collaborations with the likes of A-Reece, Marcus Harvey and Maglera Doe Boy being amongst the features of the 13-track album. The project made a massive impact in the streets and it also went on to win album of the year at the SA Hip Hop Awards.
Thato Saul’s work towards his project did not only earn him a massive following in the rap game, but he attracted good working relations. The rapper also won Best Newcomer Of The Year and he managed to feature on AKA’s posthumous Mass Country album on the song Mbuzi.
