Tiwa Savage Confirms Arrest of Suspects After ‘Security Breach’ At Her Residence

Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage, on Friday, April 14, 2023, confirmed reports of a major security breach at her Lagos residence.
There were viral reports in the early hours of Friday claiming Savage escaped a kidnap attempt allegedly masterminded by her domestic staff.
Confirming the report, Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna, the music artiste’s manager told Netng on Friday evening that the music star was indeed in harm’s way and the culprits have been apprehended.
“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi,” Tiwa Savage’s management said in a statement sent to Netng.
She did not provide further details.
This is coming barely two days after Savage released the music video of her new single ‘Stamina’, featuring Young Jonn and Ayra Starr
If found guilty, the suspects are likely to get a maximum of 20-year prison sentence for attempted kidnapping without the possibility of paying a fine.
