Tanzanian singer Zuhura Othman aka Zuchu came out to set the record straight about claims that she bleached her entire body.
The songbird recorded herself while wearing tiny shorts and a vest to give viewers an unparalleled view of her skin just to dismiss the bleaching allegations.
Zuchu insisted that she only uses natural ways to take care of her skin but had not bleached an inch of her body.
“Hii video iendee watu wote mlionislender kuhusu skin yangu. Now as you can see hii ni video very pure haina filter yoyote nimeichukua directly from the camera. Hapa mwilini nimepaka mafuta ya nazi and this is my skin. I think my skin is perfectly fine,” Zuchu said.
She further addressed the dark spots on her thighs which made many people believe they were the after-effects of bleaching gone bad.
“Mimi sio mdoli of cause I might have some few dark spots here (on her thighs) and there lakini that’s a work in progress,” she said.
The ‘Sukari’ hitmaker concluded by insisting that she didn’t care about what her detractors think about her skin, insisting that she was comfortable with the flaws on her body.
“I really do not care if you think my skin is not good enough for you. I feel like my skin is perfectly fine, I feel like I am a human being I can have a few dark spots, it is perfectly fine to have a few dark spots,” Zuchu said.

Makeup free
A while back, Zuchu stepped out without any makeup and she was completely unrecognizable.
Critics were quick to conclude that Zuchu looked like the broke version of herself in makeup-free photos.
The Bongo singer is always seen with makeup in photos shared on social media and other platforms.
For many female celebrities, it’s quite hard to tell how they look naturally because they always use makeup.
However, Zuchu recently stepped out without any makeup and she set tongues wagging.
The Bongo songbird briefly decided to say goodbye to her insecurities and let her true self shine without any makeup on her face.
